Your child might have a diagnosis, an NDIS plan, therapy appointments, and a great support team, and you’re doing everything you can to help them thrive.
But if home life still feels chaotic, reactive, or emotionally exhausting… you’re not alone.
Therapy might happen for one hour a week.
But your child lives the other 167 hours at home (or school!) and most families haven’t been equipped to make those hours work.
That’s where this program comes in.
Neuro-Behavioural Support Training: Raising Kids to Rise and Thrive bridges the gap between what happens in the clinic room and what’s needed day-to-day, helping parents and carers build the emotional regulation, behavioural support, and co-regulation skills that set their child up for success.
This course helps you:
Understand the nervous system and how it drives your child’s behaviour
Reduce daily stress and behavioural dysregulation at home
Reinforce therapy strategies consistently between appointments
Build emotional safety and predictable routines that support participation in everyday life
Support your child’s NDIS goals by improving their ability to engage, communicate, and connect with you, and with the world around them

Hi, I’m Ashleigh, a neurophysiologist, clinical psychotherapist, and mum. I created this course because I’ve lived both sides of this story: the professional supporting families in clinic, and the parent desperately trying to make it all work at home.
Again and again, I saw families doing everything “right”... getting diagnoses, following therapy plans, attending appointments... yet still feeling overwhelmed and unsupported outside those sessions. Their child had an NDIS plan… but their day-to-day life still felt chaotic. I lived this myself!!
The truth is, the other 167 hours in the week matter just as much as the one spent in therapy.
But most parents haven’t been shown how to support their child’s nervous system, or how their own regulation affects what happens at home.
That’s the gap this training fills.
It blends evidence-based neurophysiology with real-life, practical tools. It's not just theory, but what actually helps in the moment. We focus on emotional safety, co-regulation, and building capacity in the parent, so children can access and apply what they’re learning in therapy.
This isn’t about doing MORE. It’s about doing what actually works.
We built this with lived experience at the core, because the right support shouldn’t just help you get through the day. It should help your child grow, participate, and thrive now and into the future.
If you’re supporting a child with complex emotional, behavioural, or sensory needs, and you're ready for support that actually helps between appointments, you're in the right place.
You’re not failing. You’re just ready for the right kind of help. And that’s what we’re here to offer.
This isn’t a generic parenting course with one-size-fits-all tips.
It’s a nervous system-informed training designed for families navigating complex emotional, behavioural, or sensory needs, where stress responses are high, and the usual advice just doesn’t work.
This training doesn’t just teach you how to manage your child’s behaviour, it helps you understand your own nervous system, how it responds under pressure, and how that impacts your child’s capacity to regulate, relate, and respond.
This is where real change begins.
When a parent’s nervous system signals safety, the child’s nervous system can start to settle too, and suddenly, the strategies from speech, OT, or psychology have somewhere to land.
This is how we move from:
Feeling reactive → to feeling responsive
Managing chaos → to building connection
Constant stress → to sustainable change
When the parent’s nervous system signals safety, the child’s capacity to engage with therapy strategies, regulate emotions, and participate in daily routines increases significantly.

Discover how your thoughts, emotional patterns, and beliefs influence your child’s behaviour, and how to shift from reacting impulsively to responding calmly and consistently.
Learn how your nervous system state impacts co-regulation, and how to build a home environment that supports your child’s sense of emotional safety and connection.
Recognise your default responses to stress (fight, flight, freeze, or fawn) and apply practical strategies to stay present and grounded during challenging moments.
Understand what’s really contributing to your child’s dysregulation, including transitions, sensory overload, unmet needs, and emotional cues, and how to reduce escalation and conflict at home.

Yes. This program is especially helpful for parents navigating ASD, ADHD, PDA, ODD, or SPD, where dysregulation is frequent. It gives you tools to create safety, co-regulation, and structure at home - even when things feel chaotic.
Most courses focus on managing your child’s behaviour. This one helps you understand the why - in both your child’s behaviour and your own reactions. It's not about perfection or quick fixes. It's a neuroscience-based, trauma-informed approach that empowers parents to shift the dynamic from the inside out.
